Congratulations to Sheila Sherlock who represented Wicklow at the national final of the Make and Model in An Grianan.
There were 18 entries of a very high standard.
Sheila's lovely outfit suitable to wear to a centenary event was
Highly Commended.

Congratulations to Una Ryan, Stephanie Mc Donald and
Joan O'Flaherty who represented Wicklow in the Table Quiz final. There were 26 teams and they came 3rd.


Jenny Jones represented Wicklow in the final of the Gempack Recipe competition with her delicious dessert
Lemon Chocolate Semolina Cream Cake.


There were 26 entries and Jenny was the winner.
Her recipe was served to everyone at lunch.

Brilliant! Well done ladies.
You did Ashford Guild and Wicklow Federation proud.

Ashford had two winners at the federation Arts and Crafts night.
Congratulations to Betty Teahan who won the
Molly Moore Rosebowl with her beautiful crochet collar
and to Rita Conalty who won the Sheila O'Toole Cup
with her beautiful knitted suit.



It was another successful Glenealy festival for our drama group.
SheilaSherlock won the Best Actress award.
Una Mc Gowran won a Merit Award for her portrayal of Marcie.
Margaret Stephens as stage manager won Best Set
and Hilda Roche Best Producer
and our production of 'The Allotment' by Gillian Plowman won the overall award for Best Play of the festival making all the hard work and rehearsals well worth while.

The drama group performed the play again
in the Bray One Act festival and received a good adjudication. The set was nominated for the presentation award and
